All facial treatments include a thorough consultation, double cleanse, skin analysis, & warm aromatherapy towel compresses. Facials can be modified due to allergies, medications, pregnancy, or any other contraindications.

  • The Classic: 60 min / $85 / All Skin Types

    A classic, custom, “anything but basic” facial. After an in-depth consultation to understand your skin goals, we’ll begin with a warm towel compress & an aromatherapy inhalation ritual to ease you into your hour of bliss. A double cleanse & gentle exfoliation with steam polishes away any dry, dead skin cell build up and prepares the skin for hydration, nutrients, & antioxidants. Next, a thorough but gentle extraction of blackheads, acne pustules, & excess oil accumulation helps to keep the pores clear & prevent breakouts. A slow, soothing facial massage not only relaxes the tension we hold in our facial muscles, but helps to move lymph & toxins out of the skin while improving circulation & product absorption. After I apply a facial mask tailored to your needs, sink further into bliss while enjoying a relaxing shoulder, neck, hand, & arm massage. Finally, an appropriate serum, moisturizer, & SPF along with eye cream & lip balm leave your skin looking healthy & fresh. No cookie-cutter facials here!   • The Mini: 30 min / $55 / All Skin Types

    No time for a full facial? Or maybe you’re new to professional skincare & just want to test the water. The Mini (a condensed version of The Classic) is the perfect express pick-me-up that packs a punch in 30 minutes! A double cleanse & gentle facial polish sweep away dead skin cell buildup, revealing soft, smooth skin. Next, we apply a custom mask suited to your needs while you enjoy a relaxing shoulder & neck massage. An application of appropriate serum, moisturizer, & SPF along with eye cream & lip balm completes this lunchtime service!   • The Detox: 60 min / $95 / Oily, Combination, Congested, Breakout-Prone Skin

    Pesky acne & skin congestion can occur at any age & at any time. Changes in season, diet, sleep schedule, hormones, stress levels, & even where you live can all contribute to acne. In this soothing & detoxifying treatment, we will work to address the root cause of the imbalance & identify what at-home products may or may not be helping. A fruity pomegranate enzyme exfoliaton dissolves dead skin cells while salicylic acid helps to clean out the pores & prepare the skin for extractions. Gentle extractions are key with inflamed skin, as we do not want to create too much friction & heat to make matters worse. High Frequency electrodes reduce redness, inflammation, & stops the spread of acne-causing bacteria. The products carefully selected in this treatment work harmoniously to reduce breakouts & congestion, diminish oil production, & calm irritation caused by dehydration & a compromised moisture barrier.     Our most popular & most requested facial, The Works includes dermaplaning for results like no other. Dermaplaning is a form of mechanical, or physical, exfoliation. This gentle but highly effective anti-aging treatment removes up to three weeks worth of dead skin cell buildup, revealing the fresh baby skin cells underneath & allowing for better product absorption. Peach fuzz, or vellus hair, is also removed & dermaplaning provides a great hair removal alternative for highly sensitive skin that can’t handle facial waxing. The hair that is removed grows back naturally, exactly the same way it was before - never darker or courser. Immediately after dermaplaning is the optimal time for ingredient absorption, as products no longer have to fight through dead skin build up to get where they need to go to be the most effective. waxing & tinting

At Dérive, we offer two types of wax depending on the area being treated. Fast but never rushed, our waxing services start & end with a conversation about what to expect before, during, & after your service to ensure our clients are comfortable, informed, & confident!

  • Eyebrow Wax & Shaping: 15+ min / $20

  • Upper Lip: 15 min / $12

  • Chin: 15 min / $15

  • Underarm: 30 min / $25

  • Bikini: 30 min / $35

  • Brazilian: 45 min / $70

  • Eyebrow Tinting: 15 min / $15

  • Eyelash Tinting: 15 min / $20


BEFORE A WAX:

-Gently exfoliate the area regularly to prevent ingrown hair. Exfoliate the area to be waxed 1-2 days prior to your appointment

-Avoid shaving in between waxing appointments to ensure the best results possible

-Do not apply lotions, oils, self tanner, or deodorants prior to your appointment

-Avoid tanning beds, saunas, hot tubs, and other forms of intense heat on the day of your appointment

-Hair length should be at least 1/4 inch, or the length of a grain of rice, and no longer than 3/4 inch. Hair that is too short will not adhere to the wax, while hair that is too long can break during the wax and cause ingrown hair

-Stop the use of the following for at least 10 days prior to a wax and 3 days after, as these ingredients can cause the skin to lift or become irritated: topical retinols and acne treatments (Adalapene, Alustra, Avage, Avita, Azelex, Differin, Renova, Tazorac, Tazarotine, Tretinoin, etc), Alpha Hydroxy Acids (Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Citric Acid, etc), Beta Hydroxy Acids (Salicylic Acid), hydroquinone, prednisone, Metrogel, and topical/oral antibiotics (Clindamycin, Doxycycline, Erythromycin, Tetracycline, etc) 

-You must be off Accutane/Isotretinoin for 1 YEAR prior to waxing

-Do not receive a chemical peel or any injectables 10 days prior to a wax or 3 days after

-Excessive caffeine and/or alcohol consumption 24 hours before a wax increases circulation and can potentially cause bruising

-Smoking, diabetes, pregnancy, birth control, hormone replacement therapy, and blood thinners can all cause skin sensitivity. Check with your doctor if you have any concerns regarding these conditions prior to waxing.

-You should NOT receive waxing if you have a rash, psoriasis, broken skin, severe acne, severe rosacea, cold sores, lupus, AIDS, are receiving chemotherapy or radiation, or taking Accutane. 


AFTER A WAX:

-Avoid tight clothing to prevent irritation and ingrown hairs

-Avoid touching the waxed area

-Avoid hot showers/baths, sauna, steam room, hot yoga, or other forms of intense heat for 24-48 hours

-Soothe the area with aloe vera gel

-Don't exfoliate for 72 hours

-For facial waxing, avoid AHA's/BHA's, retinols, exfoliants, or any other stimulating ingredients for 48 hours. Keep the area gently cleansed and moisturized

-Wear SPF and protective clothing if you will be in the sun
